About Us

Kate has been involved with horses for over forty years. With her parents both having a riding background, Kate was riding by three and had her own first pony at the age of four. She attended Jindera Pony Club for ten years, progressing to become an EFA Young Rider Dressage Champion in Victoria at 18yo & New South Wales at 19yo, with the coaching of well known local FEI rider Jodie Dunstan and Olympic Dressage team coach Clemens Dierks.

After completing High School Kate pursued a career in the horse industry and began pre race training with a well known local trainer, furthering her career into breaking and re education of both race and performance horses. Unfortunately injury interfered with her riding career and eventually ended it.

Kate is a Certified Equestrian Coach and has completed the Diploma of Horse Breeding (Stud Management).

Along with Kate, Greg has always held an interest in Thoroughbreds and the racing industry, in particular pedigrees. Greg purchased his first broodmare in 2010 and it is with great pride that they now see their stud bred progeny hit the race track and pursue performance horse careers around Australia.

Greg and Kate moved to their current Property at picturesque Table Top in 2002. Starting with a blank canvas, Greg has created a beautiful, professional, functional and most importantly safe equine facility. In 2016 they purchased another parcel of land "Rangeview", just minutes from Striker Park, which has been transformed into a spelling farm.

"We are a small stud, "quality not quantity", with a view of producing quality foals that will have the type, temperament and ability to succeed in a variety of disciplines. We aim to breed for racing as our main discipline, but overall for useful horses foremost”.
